What if your beautiful preparation of content and structure does not match the needs of the participants and you are confronted with a lot of resistance? How can you convert the negative “resistance” of your participants into positive “learning” energy? In other words: how can you best facilitate the learning process of your participants?

Through this Train the Trainer course you evolve from a content expert or trainer to a facilitator of the group and learning process.

  • You know the role a facilitator plays and get an insight into your own personality style.
  • You understand the group dynamic processes.
  • You master techniques to involve all participants.
  • You learn how to transfer your knowledge in an instructive and interactive way and lift it to a higher level.

The training session consists of 2 days.

During the training

The course is based on your specific questions, needs and concrete cases. Together we analyse where our strengths and pitfalls lie in the field of knowledge transfer.

Possible topics may be:

  • Distinction between presenting, training & facilitation
  • Connecting your own personal style with own beliefs and motivations
  • Group interaction process techniques
  • Dealing with resistance, difficult participants, groups, situations
  • Transferring knowledge and attitude
  • Practicing didactic skills
  • Discovering and creating learning environments
  • The use of interactive methods
  • Effective questioning
  • Promoting transfer of what is learned
  • Responding to unexpected events

Afterwards

As a community member of Learning Circles:

  • you have access to the shared materials
  • you can contact your trainer for a free consultation.

This training starts from and builds further on your practice, experience and learning.
In the training we create a constructive, interactive, self-driven, results-oriented and safe learning environment.

Our training has an interactive character with varied methods. We bring in short, convenient models of teaching and group dynamic skills and we constantly put theory into practice. We do this in three ways:

  • To deepen: we want to strengthen managers, trainers and experts in their role
  • To widen: by experimenting with new roles, which are more appropriate to new ways of learning and encourage knowledge sharing
  • To connect: through relational dynamics

2 intensive days residential

620 Euros excl. VAT (price includes course materials and the training sessions)

extra cost: 160 Euros excl. VAT (1 night in a shared multiple bedroom, 1 dinner with dessert, breakfast, lunches, coffee breaks and free use of a 23ha domain)
